Leading
the way for
a better future.
We are committed CHANGE AGENTS urgently helping to fix problems within the food system and inspire a movement. We believe in the healing powers of real foods sourced from nature, and we strive to make EPIC products — the right way— without sacrificing taste, quality, or the joy of delicious food. Giving people the opportunity to live a healthier life starts by creating products that consumers can actually trust.
Jason H. Karp
Founder and CEO
Jason H. Karp, Founder and CEO of HumanCo is driven by the passionate belief that improving health is the most effective strategy to increase global prosperity. Jason started HumanCo in 2019 with the goal of inspiring humans to demand better by showing that people can indeed have products that are both healthy AND epic. Jason’s health & wellness journey started in his early 20’s after being diagnosed with multiple auto-immune diseases and a degenerative eye disease that threatened to leave him blind by age 30. Against all odds, and through a fanatical commitment to making changes in his food and lifestyle, Jason cured himself through cleaner living. This journey inspired him to co-found Hu Products and Hu Kitchen with family in 2011. Hu is now one of the fastest growing snacking companies in the U.S. with a strict focus on transparent, simple ingredients to help everyone “Get Back to Human.” In addition to his health fanaticism, Jason led a successful 21-year career as a leader in the investment space and was Founder & CEO of Tourbillon Capital Partners – a $4b investment fund. Seeing the growing demand for healthy and clean products with better ingredients, Jason knew there was a better way to make the foods we love, and HumanCo was born.
When Jason isn’t changing the food system, you can find him spending time with his wife (Jessica, Co-Founder of Hu Products) and kids and playing tennis.
